Looking for guidance on using CV funds to assist with those in arrears on utilities (electricity, most likely - this is not a city owned utility). Our General Assistance case worker said there are many people that have submitted for assistance, but they are far enough behind that GA can't cover it. There is a restriction on disconnects right now, but it ends November 1. Winter rules go into place the same day, which requires 30 days notice before shutoff and offering of a payment plan, so we have until at least end of November until someone would get disconnected.
